“It was well worth it if you haven't seen Amsterdam before. This was a day-trip by bus from Brussels taking up the full day. The boat tour gives you a good sense of the canal district, though it's not ideal for photos since you are quite low, but it was OK. The other boats and houseboats are interesting. I spotted a quaint restaurant overlooking a bridge and canal and declared to myself "I'm eating there!" - and did after the tour, sitting outside in the spring sunshine. You get a couple of hours of free time to wander around and explore.”
